Sometimes, I amaze myself by how much black I wear everyday.

Spring / Summer 2012 T-Shirt Collection by Depression
For people who know me well, I don’t wear a lot of t-shirts. Not that I don’t like them - in sunny Singapore, that’s probably the sensible outfit of choice, it’s just that I’m very choosy when it comes to the t-shirts I wear. It has to be of the right fabric, the right cut, and most of all, it has to be interesting.
And one place I always look to when I need a t-shirt is from local brand, Depression. I’m not saying this because I’m good friends with the designers, but that I’m truly liking their stuffs. I have no idea how the two of them manage to come up with all the wacky (good) ideas, but their t-shirts are always fun to wear and cool to be seen in them.
For Spring / Summer 2012, the design duo draw inspiration from the best of their childhood memories and captured the spirits of innocence and playfulness in their latest t-shirt collection.

“The White Sheep / Black Sheep” T-shirt - Once upon a time, the zoo used to be my favourite place on earth.

“The Story of My Life” T-shirt - Wasn’t there a time when all of us were made to think and write about our ambitions? Are you the teacher, lawyer, fireman or doctor now?

“The Fighting Fish” T-shirt - All the boys had (at least) one fish, I didn’t.

“The Boat” T-shirt - Other than squares, circles and triangles, this is probably the first thing I knew how to draw.

“The Bunny” T-shirt - How I wish I still believe in magic like I did when I was 5.

“The Sunny Side-Up” T-shirt - My favourite childhood food. I swear I had one almost everyday. And I still like it till today.
The T-shirts are priced between SGD49 - SGD59.
